Origin of the name
1. Please explain the origin of the name your representative/famous brand.
When Takahiro Nagayama became the chief brewer in 2002, the sake brewing at Nagayama Honke took a radical new turn. He committed to only brewing junmai sake, and the result of the new approach is "Taka", a namesake brand of sake taken from his own name, "Takahiro".

As one of the features of our sake, we take pride in the umami produced the three types of sake rice from western Japan (Yamada Nishiki, Hattan Nishiki, Omachi). In west Japan you can enjoy a wide range of seafood, such as horse mackerel, mackerel, and blowfish, so we would recommend pairing them with our sake.
